growing up it was not unusual for my mother to take me to the bathroom. I really hated shopping and one of the things I hated the most was shopping for school before school started every year. My mother had no problem taking me to the bathroom and smacking my bottom to get me focused. If we were on a long shopping day like for school it would probably happen. There were also several times when I was growing up that my mom would spank me if we were at someone's house. She just would quietly ask if we could use a bedroom. Most often these were events that were mother and daughter type events anyway.
With my own girls thankfully now they have family bathrooms that have some room and the door locks. There is privacy. Both of my girls at times have been spanked in bathrooms in the past. And again it's normally when we're doing school shopping and we have to go to several different stores for several different sales. I have also given them spankings on a hiking trail a few times. I have also given spankings at church as well. Unfortunately there is no formal room to do it in
This is something that's very normal to me I guess it's because it happened with me growing up. I would certainly be careful about it and I certainly don't want to embarrass or shame them I just want to get them under control. Because I always have the option of taking care of them later when we get home.
