Subject: Be realistic with her. dancers at this level are going to worlds/national recallers. She probably won't place often...if the competition has only 6 kids and 3 are world qualifiers it's hard! The best part of open is no pressure to move up. work on what she needs to improve and enjoy the day.

  • It's normal. You're now against the top dancers. The past few feis we've been at 50% of the comp was World Qualifiers. So until you're ready to WQ, you likely wouldn't place at those feis.They're not all like that though - some will have many non-WQ sign up. So it can just be the luck of the draw.
