At 18, most are going off to college. If a dancer can't handle doing a wig, etc. without getting nervous or whatnot, how else will they handle other challenges in life? A wig is a minor thing in the whole grand scheme, isn't it? Doesn't reflect well for an older dancer to be seeking this kind of "help" before any kind of a competition.

Nothing wrong with practicing the look ahead of time, which is what was suggested.

It's one this for a TC to tweak a look, and we've all seen that, but to have the whole thing done by another and be that old?
