Author: refer to region
Subject: The NAFC does not control these types of rules. They come from CLRG. Then each region can add to what CLRG states, but cannot undo what CLRG states, eg. PC needing 3 firsts to move in this region, and other regions only 2. This is something for the regional directors.
In reply to: Unfortunate 's message, "NAFC/regions should really make adult rules more clear/consistent, especially now that so many more older dancers are competing. The 5 year rule is understood to extend to all adult comps. Not in the spirit of adult comps to go from senior ladies at the O to adults" on 11:59:15 02/04/18 Sun

  • This is not true. I am an “&over” senior lady and when I go to register for feis the adult competitions always show up as an option for registration. (NT) -- SeniorLady, 14:04:17 02/04/18 Sun
  • That is because it is an electronic system that goes by age-input entry. You have to specifically select it on certain online registrations, that is why it shows as an option. An adult dancer/senior dancer should absolutely know which to select (NT) -- by that age, no excuses, 16:58:54 02/04/18 Sun
  • Many sort by competition level, like feisweb for example, so "adult" and "&over" prelim would be separate classifications and show different competitions available for registration (NT) -- no excuses, 11:05:08 02/05/18 Mon
