poke fun at how trophy heavy Irish Dance is, as well. As a family, we poke fun at each other, there is no offense taken. People are always asking me if my kids ever argue, and I tell them the honest truth, very rarely. They are all very easy going, and love spending time together, even as teenagers.

My dancers also play high school sports, and while they think that Dance is definitely more physically demanding, they also comment at how much harder it is to get a trophy or a medal compared to dance. Some dancers really appreciate the prizes, my dancers really couldn’t care less about them, it’s more about the placement and the competition.
