Subject: Would not go back to Feis at Falls for grades
In reply to: TIA 's message, "Feis at the falls or Delaware feis?" on 02:17:10 07/20/18 Fri

Last year the first PW dance at my dayghter’s age was at 9:30, last dance was 4:30. The schedule had each grades dance run by every age group before moving on to the next dance. We were not prepared for such a protracted schedule, as we were accustomed to NE, where each age/level typically runs through the dances consecutively. Enjoyed seeing the falls, though.

  • Have not done DE but Falls was a very long day ... gotta do it once (more) -- NEMA, 08:14:40 07/26/18 Thu
  • Stage schedules are very common in the MidAtlantic region. Not sure what you mean by that statement. Majority of MidAtlantic region runs on time, some provide not before times, and others provide times. Cannot predict how results will come out, so -- to knock that is kind of unfair, 13:03:41 07/26/18 Thu
  • Been to this feis for several years and there is always a stage schedule. If you expect "not before times" - this is a rare, if non-existent, occurrence in midatlantic region. Highly recommend in the feis calculator that's out there - especially for champs. (NT) -- Nice feis, 13:08:41 07/26/18 Thu
  • I suspect, because she said "The lack of stage schedules, which is common outside NE", what she meant by a stage schedule was -- more inside, 08:08:02 07/28/18 Sat
