Subject: I agree, my friends and family think my dd’s dress is stunning and they love her wig and curls
In reply to: just another view (in the minority) 's message, "Our friends outside of ID think the costumes are stunning and really admire the polished look so much more than their jazz/tap looks (and I quote them, "cheap-o look")" on 19:01:45 09/13/18 Thu

To be clear however my dd has a more subtle and elegant dress, she wears a very natural make up look and her tan is enough to look good but not crazy dark. She does not have an over the top look. My dd loves both. She enjoys black out feis and I think she is beautiful in her natural hair and plain black skater dress and she looks so graceful with her slip jog in the plain costume. She also loves her solo dress and the way her wig bounces and makes her look so lively. She is a plain kid in everyday life so I think the wig, solo dress, make up and tan help her create this persona who becomes much more confident on stage than she is in real life. In general I think people should do what works best for them.
