Subject: The reality is, even with only one other sport/activity, which undoubtedly will not alter its schedule for you, parents need to work around them. Multiply that by multiple children and yes, it gets a little complicated when Sally, Joe and John don't all do the same thing.
In reply to: or does it? 's message, "this will hi-jack the thread; but did anyone of you think that you are 'over-scheduling" your children and families? Granted "life doesn't revolve around Irish Dance" but it doesn't revolve around other children's sports or activities, either -" on 13:15:42 10/02/18 Tue

But we all have that issue, and we work around it. One of the blessings of this region is there are so many feisanna to choose from - do what works for you: Saturday feising only; Sunday feising only; feis once a month and for that one day, you don't do other stuff. IDK, I'm in this over 16 years at this point and even when my dd was doing 30-40 feisanna a year in prelims, and with two other non-dancing kids, we made it work.
