I can't afford to pay $60-80 for a feis and god knows how much for a session of a sport and then have my kids miss one or the other due to unexpected overlap. I'm glad others have made it work but that's not the reality for us. Now, I don't complain to feis committees about it and I don't expect them to change, but it is nevertheless true that they'd get more money from me if the pre-scheduling was somehow possible (which I get that it isn't).
