What’s the deal with the scuffle? According to posts on the Fordham board, a student was chanting “Fire Bob Hill” and was subsequently, cursed out, threatened with violence and shoved by a Fordham redshirt player (and possibly sucker punched by another fan after the game).

Did you see any of this or get any reliable reports?

The way things are going, it looks like Fordham fans are going to have to wait 6 more years (when Hill’s contract finally ends) before the process of rebuilding the program can even begin. That means 8 – 10 years, minimum before Fordham can hope for respectability.

Despite this, many Fordham fans seem to strongly support Hill, and even more seem to think it is a mortal sin to criticize him. I am amazed by this.
