Subject: Thoughts about Lanier and the Status of The Team

At this point i think it is a bit premature to bash Lanier because all the blame cannot be given to him.

He has struggled making some in game adjustments, but the fact that we can race out to leads like we have is a positive in terms of his strategy and game plan.

Just about every game we win the tap and either Haddix or Prosper scores in the lane. After the first 3 or 4 minutes they seem to go away from getting the ball inside.

Whether that falls on the coach or the players i dont know. I remember a play last night where tommy had the ball on the wing and Brent was wide open calling for the ball at the elbow and he was unguarded. He could have caught the ball and gone right down the lane. Tommy chose to swung it to i believe Jordan who chucked up a 3.

Plays like that cannot fall on the coaches shoulders. I just think some times the players dont use their heads.

With that said. Looking at the remaining schedules i see Iona finishing Third at 12-6 and Siena and Niagara both finishing 11-7 in the league. Then it will come down to the all important tie-breakers to stay out of the PIG and i am not sure how that will play out.
