Some of us are getting caught in the crossfire here.

Most of us are pretty good fans, have some level of respect for other human beings, and try to measure our responses to things as best as we can.

The zealots and haters are creating the fire and the return fire is from all the people they've pissed off and now want to stick it in their a**es.

I was afraid this might happen at some point this season - but clearly losing back-to-back home games against this season's bottom tier exceeded even my lofty expectations. Hanging around & hearing people's opinions when the spotlight wasn't on them, I already knew there is a contingent here who absolutely hate Lanier, hate Siena's practices, some willing to profess their racial bigotry or simple frustration over the fact that Siena seems to keep hiring black coaches.

Combine that with more respectable dissenters who have pet coaches of their own or skepticism about the system in place, and this was a ticking time bomb.

This too shall pass.
