Subject: Makes me laugh ...

I've been coming to these boards for 4 or 5 years now, and every year I see the same thing. With Paul Hewitt, posters complained about a lack of defense, a lack of a half court offense and whatever else, and this is while he was winning 25 and 24 wins in back to back years. Louis Orr wasnt polished enough and praise God too much for some posters, and he won 20 games. Rob Lanier cant coach offense, doesnt make adjustments, cant recruit a point guard yet he went to the NCAA's last year and is currently 13-8 this year.

How many posters expected 1) the Saints to rely as heavily as they are on freshman this year and 2) the Saints to be any better than 13-8 at this point of the season?

Coach Lanier has been saying since day 1 this season that the Saints are a work in progress, that they have much to improve on and that the ultimate goal is to peak in March.

I am terribly dissapointed in the Saints efforts the last two games, but c'mon, they're still 13-8, they still have 6 games left and still have the opportunity to be a post season team.
