Mulligan was at Maryland-Baltimore County because he is a 6'5'' 4/3 type of player. He is too small to play at a higher level, which is why he didn't transfer to the Big East or Atlantic 10 from UMBC. People knew of his intentions. They just didn't want to take a player his size at his position. Fordham included.

He should be pretty good at Manhattan. But the higher level programs didn't want him, even after his success in the NEC.
