Subject: Getting the "Point".

Since moving to the point against Loyola, Prosper has 25 assists to only 9 turnovers. Outstanding job. Would have been interesting to see Prosper run the point for Hewitt in that style of play. None the less, the move has led to the emergence of Tommy Mitchell at the '2'. Seems Tommy's athleticism is starting to shine moreso at that spot - tough away from the ball and really starting to become a polished, Division 1 player. Very evident that he's worked on his game. He's playing himself on to one of the All-MAAC teams.

Prosper will probably land on the first team, Mitchell on the third and Haddix and Jordan on the newcomer list.

As for Prosper, anyone think his connection with Steve Nash from the Canadian team could get him a long look at an NBA roster - even Dallas? Prosper proved to be one of the better players on the Canadian team, especially when Nash was getting him the ball. Sometimes it's who you know. Watching a couple of NBA games the last couple of nights while I'm in this stinking hotel room in Edison, NJ for the week (sidebar - if you or anyone you know is thinking of beinig a public accountant, tell them to run as fast as they can from the profession. 3 months of 60 hour weeks, stink :) anyway, watching a couple of NBA games, Prosper has the skills to play point in that league - the new defensive rules and his ability to find the open man are big pluses on his side. He'll probably wind up in Europe, but a 6'7" PG may draw the attention of some teams.
