First off, I think you both made some good points.

I would say that if we got swept this weekend, we might have a very tough time getting that 4 seed. A split vs Manhattan (not to mention taking care of business at home vs Siena) would become a must. And I agree with Saintly, though Manhattan is the better team we DO match up with them well. Don't forget that we lost to them by 5 on a neutral floor a day after our biggest win in 23 years--and this is a game where we were up 4 with 4 to play. Manhattan usually whips us pretty good at Draddy, but we always seem to beat them in New Rochelle.

Regarding whether everyone is "a step behind" the three at the top of the standings, let's see what happens this weekend before making that claim. If Niagara or Iona goes 2-0, we'd both be right there with ya.
