Tony, I had said that I thought it was a SHADE premature for you to consider the MAAC a 3-team race at the top, simply based on Siena's great win at Fairfield. Well, Iona has just beaten Canisius without Steve Smith (who got hurt early) and after trailing by 14 with 10 to play (outscored the Griffs 21-4 down the stretch). I'm not sure how we'll do vs Niagara--particularly if Smith isn't ready to go (injury was to his hand)--but if we manage to win that one, it's a 4-team race. Stay tuned!
