You hit the nail on the head with one observation and are way off base on another.

1) No way is Freshman Haddix our best player. He is a very good player who makes remarkably few freshman mistakes, but he is at least our third best player behind Prosper Karangwa and Tommy Mitchell. His shooting percentage has been dropping recently; I think the rigors of the MAAC are finally taking a toll on the poor kid.

2) Absolutely correct on the timeout issue. Although I wouldn't say at this point that Lanier is clueless, in my opinion it was a huge mistake to call timeout when we were in the drivers seat up 3 with 3.5 seconds left, Fairfield with no tos left. In fact, I was secretly hoping that the stags would forget and call one. Lanier will be the first to tell you that he is still learning, but I think that Siena fans are in general happy with his progress so far in his young head coaching career.
