Subject: What do you expect...........

shoot 38% (17, that's right, I kept track, missed chippies, put backs or layups), 10 missed FT's.......poor defense in the 2nd half was costly.......Prosper in a fog not delivering the ball cleanly to inside players who had position, Mitchell launching 3pters at will after sitting a long time for an injury (in most cases, over 2 defenders), both Brent & Williams repeatedly not grabbing weak side rebounds, Andrews not setting up properly on his 3pt atempts (just catching then quickly launching, but made the ones where he squared properly)..............and mostly Lanier, who has not yet showed up at the Pepsi Arena for todays game........plain and simple you cannot allow your team to play "down" to the level of an inferior club, that is totally your responsibility.

Now for the positives, although he shot 1-11 (4 missed chippies/put backs), Jordan was everywhere, 15 rebs (7 on offensive glass), 4 steals, 5 assists.......this kid is on track for a stellar career........he is cut from the same mold as Faison & Arch, but is far more advanced as a frosh as they were...............my God that is scary how he might develop...............also, after a few flagrant elbows that were NOT called on him, Paul Williams played some solid minutes and was effective, netting 5 rebs (of which 3 were on the offensive end) & contributing 6pts, at least he showed something today.

Another stinger of a loss, considering this was at home after a solid road win...............growing pains for a young team, but that excuse is getting old.........next up Rider, bounce back is needed to regain confidence.........a loss in that game, might stir up the negative coaching posse again!!!!!!!!!
