Subject: MAAC Tournament Thoughts

With the MAAC tournament looming right around the corner, here are my thoughts for Siena and the rest of the MAAC. I think, although Siena has suffered recently giving up huge early leads, that this team is actually in pretty good standing. Remember, we were picked 6th or 7th at the start of the year. As has been discussed earlier, there is little difference between the #2-3 seeds, and barring a collapse, Manhattan has earned the #1 seed. So, with that being said, here is where I see Siena, and the rest of the MAAC falling into place:

#1 Manhattan (16-2)- Got out of the gates strong, deserve the #1 seed.
#2 Siena (13-5)- Young team learns lessons from dissapointing losses, rebounds to finish last 7 games @6-1.
#3 Fairfield- I see these guys faltering a bit-peaked too early.
#4 Niagara- Come on strong at the end of the year, when it counts.
#5 Iona- Solid, young team, narrowly edged out by Niagara.
#6 Canisius- Golden Griffs defend home court well to earn the 6 spot.
#7 Marist- A glaring frontcourt weakness will not be overcame by a 25+ point David Bennett performance ona regular basis.
#8- St. Peter's -An improvement from the usual cellar dwellars
#9- Rider- A dissapointing seed for a dissapoingtin season.
#10- Loyola- They suck.

This was just for fun, hopefully it works out this way!
