Subject: "huge" win for the Saints tonight ...

couple of observations ...
- Saints outrebounded Stags in 2nd half, with 14 offensive rebounds, made their foul shots and had only 7 2nd half turnovers ... can you say tough?
- Justin Miller with his 2nd straight double digit scoring game, in fact all 5 starters were in double digits. 2 more games coming up for the Saints big men to try and pad their stats and continue to gain the confidence of their guards in Marist and Rider at home.
- For GM, here's why Prosper is all MAAC, despite shooting something like 2 for 12 from the field, he takes, and hits, the biggest shot of the game, a long 3 with no time on the shot clock and a man in his face. Oh, and throw in 7 assists.
- Austin Andrews only 1 minute? I just dont think he is strong enough (or athletic enough) to compete with Fairfield. He'll bounce back on Sat.
- My projection is either 15-3 or 14-4 will win the league.
- at 13-6, Saints have a legitimate shot at 20 wins, especially with the favorable schedule they have left.
- Deng Gai, only 5 blocks, sure sounded like more than that to me from listening to the game.
- I think Niagara is a team to watch, though the lack depth, their starting 5 is as good as any in the MAAC.

I love my Zaints!!!
