Subject: One more thing ...

Seems like I have to say this every year ... but c'mon guys chill on getting down on this team. They are the same group who started the season 10-4, and at 10-6 are they really worse than what you expected? This is still a young team that starts 2 frosh, 2 sophs and Prosper. They should of won last night, but didnt, so what, move on to the next game.

I'll admit, I was caught up in their fast start as well. But in every quote I've read and every interview I've heard, Coach Lanier has talked about how the team isnt there yet, that they still have a lot of areas to improve. Last night just illustrated that further. But make no mistake about it, Fairfield is a good MAAC team. They're in first place for a reason. Certainly this was a game the Saints should of won (and before the Stag fans get offended, I'm not saying the Saints are the better team, just that the Saints had positioned themselves to win the game and failed to execute when it mattered most) but they didnt.

Remember, it's a marathon not a sprint.
