Fletcher was immature and had issues regarding a consistent effort towards grades and practice. His life was further complicated by his very early entrance into fatherhood. The kid was not ready to be here and obviously oriented towards making poor decisions.

I question Price being chosen over Fletcher. He won the position by default and simply was not a point guard. Had the kid gotten it together academically and had the crowd been a bit more understanding last March, Price would have received playing time as a 2G this season.

Jamal steps into this series of disasters with never having played a D1 game and simply has not caught on.

If you want to knock Lanier then blame it on his concept of coaching offensive college hoops. Quite clearly, the entire program struggles with an offense scheme that appears uncomfortable at times.

Suggesting he is simply disposing of kids is a bit out of line.
