I listened to the game last night on the internet, and it was a tremendous atmosphere. The UPenn radio guys deserve more credit for homerism than do our radio guys. The Palestra and the Big Five are a cool thing that clearly still generates a lot of interest in Philly. It would be nice if in the future Siena could find some kind of synergistic alliance with like schools & programs. The Big Five has little in common except for geography. Perhaps Siena might one day find something that has geographical & identity similarities that would make for this kind of excitement on a more regular basis. Right now, Siena can not build that kind of hubbub any other way than by continually winning, a few big-name draws, and lasting far into the MAAC tourney.
