Subject: For those who think Siena is even on the same level as SBU-

What does Siena possibly have that SBU lack? A big-name coach? (Jan van) An on campus arena the can call "home?" (Reilly Ctr.) One of the most hostile playing atmospheres in America? (see espn.com) A nationally recognized conference? (A-10) Any nationlly recognized players? (Green, Marques) Any former players now in the NBA serving as diplomats to your program? (Bremer, J.R.) Steady national media coverage? (see espn.com) Any "big-time" recruits on the way? (2 signed, others coming)

I've said enough; I'll stop here, and I won't even get into tradition. Here at SBU, we're going through some rough times, but at least we can rest assured that we have all of the above, all things which I believe Siena College lacks.

What your College does have is a young, up-and-coming coach who may someday get your program up to where you think it currently stands. Perhaps then, you can get to where St. Bonaventure is today, January 17, 2003. Until then, realize where you stand and think before you speak. If you ever feel as if your self-image is becoming a bit inflated, print the top half of this post and read it continuously, or remember the fact that your program is on the same level as our worse opponents: Canisius and Cleveland St.
