I have read the same things. What I don't know is whether in reclassifying, there are any core courses which he needs which he is not taking this year. If that is the case, then matriculating this Fall is not an option. From what I've heard and read, the transfer was basketball-related and intended to give him a chance to play at the highest level possible. Providence is interested (I've heard he's somehow related to John Linehan) and so are some of the Big Five schools. But I wouldn't count us out, based on what else Rob has been able to do with recruiting. Plus, having a 10-4 record at this point, three outstanding freshman, a win over Providence and better fan support than many "higher level" Eastern programs, on top of last year's march to the Big Dance surely can only help the recruiting.
