I didn't see the box score yet, but obviously, couldn't handle the press, key shots missed, free throw shooting, etc. The one thing that worked was putting Jackson in the game and going with a 3 guard offense (and once we had 4 guards and Williams on the floor).

Mitchell wasn't the answer against the press tonight. I would say they were coached and prepared for the press, but didn't execute. Early, looked like Siena wanted to break the press and hit Andrews for some open 3s in transition. Jamal Jackson, once he got in the game, had little problems breaking the press, but had other issues in the 1/2 court sets. But Tom Mitchell had a lot of problems, that's for sure.

Defensively, we played a good 1st half, then Flores caught fire, hitting everything he shot. When the defense keyed on Flores, he found the big men open. When Siena went to the 3 and 4 guard lineup, Gonzales went "big" and put in 3 forwards and 2 guards and with Flores hot, they had no problems getting the ball inside.

Manhattan kept finding a seem in the zone in the middle by the foul line - maybe the zone was extended out too far (like we did against PC). Manhattan isn't a great 3 pt shooting team, maybe could have packed it in a bit more.

Manhattan was the better team tonight and Flores was unbelievable, especially in the 2nd half

Game notes: NO refreshment stand at Manhattan this year as the Crew Team went under (no pun intended) and they haven't found anyone to run concessions yet. Jeff Van Gundy was there tonight and so was Stone Philips from NBC.
