Siena's loss last night was also heavily attributed to..........not playing defense, missing tons of foul shots, shooting poorly, and getting out rebounded by a very small team.................the turnovers from the press, mostly in the later part of the 1st half only made things worse. And how come they display a legit ability to break it in practice and not in the game?..................well, that is defined as not executing, which is exactly what happened................and again, they did handle it much better in the 2nd half, but only with Jamal at the PG position. It's only devastating when they show NO ability to adjust to it..........and that is simply bolderdash,...yet the players and coaches need 100% focus during games..........should call time outs if needed to "re-set" the strategy........for that we can blame Lanier for not being more pro-active as things develop in front of him. Teams can pay a heavy price for pressing, we saw Hewitts teams many times give up easy hoops once the pressure is broken or pile up fouls on the opposition as well.........coaching staff needs to use that to OUR advantage, Jaspers were indeed mounting up a ton of fouls, but to our chagrin, Saints could not knock down freebies nor use it against MC!

I expect to see a more consistent handle on it very soon.............vs. Iona..............Saints have always bounced back nicely after a poor performance, I don't expect otherwise!!!!!
