1) Registration, as you have mentioned.
2) Ability to ignore users.

We had a pretty slick chat room last year, but I would assume the service ceased to exist since we went with the one we have now. We never had registration, but at least we had the ability to ignore spammers.

I'm looking around a bit when I get a moment or two - if I find something that I like I'll send it to Tony and see what he thinks. I want us to have something for the play-by-play stuff anyhow, since it tends to spam chat rooms. However, I am always asked to do one, and more details are usually appreciated by the majority of people.
