Rob, I certainly don't envy you, especially since I'm in exactly the same position as you; I'm in the US and he's in Canada. My problem is that he's 2300 miles away so that we've only been able to get together twice.

We decided that the direction we wanted to go was to pursue getting married. If all goes well, we could conceivably have him here with me by mid-September. I wouldn't recommend that unless you're totally completely serious, however.

I wish you luck, and I envy you your close proximity. Take advantage of that!
