it has been proven by the failure of so many transfers up that they do not succeed, waterman has been mediocre at detroit, vaughan(rider) flopped at ole miss came back to rider,, molson (canisius) no good at seton hall, better at james madison, scott(rider) bench warmer at boston college, estrada(st peter) rarely played at oregon, now a star at hofstra marfo(quinniapac) did zero at texas a&m crawled back to quinnipiac and led nation in rebounding white (canisius) averaged about 2 ppg at penn state, the 2 successes were pickett(siena)who started at penn state and might have led them in scoring, and kelley(quinnipiac) who did lead boston college in scoring, then transferred to i can't remember where and probably did well, the vast majority of up transfer were failures, and will continue to be

Welcome to the board, jr, you posted some good stuff...keep it up! Got to agree with your theory that the majority of up-transfers end up as duds, but that's never going to stop the outflow. Guys are always going to want brighter lights, bigger crowds and better TV coverage.

maldez don't forget better seats on the bench to watch better players take your position and be almost ignored by coaches who made promises you should have known would not have materialized , in 2019 only 2 up transfers scored in double figures and one of them followed his old coach to the new school, it will be interesting to see if any of spu's nobodies decide if they are somebody and bolt to greener pastures
