You sound just like me re: this matter. I can tell you that from what I have read, college head coaches are just beside themselves with the portal issue. It's a disservice to the kids, in general; they are NOT graduating; they are not experiencing the ups and downs of life-that is how to respond to adversity by not fighting for a starting position (just transfer instead of competing); some kids transfer 2,3 and 4 times losing credits each time they transfer.

Coaches are constantly recruiting to fill their rosters (EVEN THE BIG PROGRAMS).There is no continuity in the college game anymore, EVEN in the BIG programs.

Absolutely correct. Bona is down to 7 players even with latest additions. NU has almost a new team. Is it worth even recruiting freshmen. If they succeed they transfer. If they don’t succeed, they still transfer. It really is making a joke of NCAA. Remember when Prochet, Scott, Robb came here as freshmen and graduated from the program? Those days are gone and with it goes fan enthusiasm. Does anyone really know what to expect from Purple Eagles next year?

"Remember when Prochet, Scott, Robb came here as freshmen..."

Greg Paulus looks to be a very good coach, but his recruiting still doesn't measure up to what Chris Casey did. GP has yet to bring in 3 freshmen the likes of Prochet, Scott, and Robb.
