Winning certainly helps, but the University has done a lot that has contributed to the increase. They have added a number of programs including the school of Health Professions. They added track and field and men's lax, which added a number of paid students. They have been focused on growth for a number of years.

Siena didn't have to do anything but cough up a million dollars or more back then to McCaffrey and then sit back and enjoy the ride and possibly to an upgrade in conference and enhanced notoriety. They lost a top national coach today because they didn't think it was worth keeping him as they couldn't compete with Iowa's financial power. They got the coach, and now they have the program Eagle dreams about.
