u r correct college athletics are only 4 the rich and big, consider this fact both schools will have to fly every one of their teams to the midwest probably over 100 times or more to compete in all of the other programs, can you imagine the costs they are going to accumulate, let alone the carbon footprint, i'm guessing that over 1 million will be spent on transportation and lodging, let alone weakening the pac 10, the greedy selfishness of the many schools leaving conferences all over the country is amazing, slowly putting mid and low majors of eventually being put in div 1a like major football, recently i saw the stupidest headline in the history of newsprint, "how the nil is good for college sports: a qb at ohio state is getting $250,000 plus a lamborghini,, 2 female twin yolleyballers at fresno st have already accumulated $1,000,000, a guy at miami fl , i believe named wang who was making 400k , went on strike and demanded a raise or he would transfer and 100's or 1000's of stories abound in the nba, 2 12 or 13 year old bballers in nyc were already offered 100's of thousands, let alone the transfer portal which is already destroying low to mid majors, can you imagine the jealously that will permeate when player x will find out player y, let alone the 1000's of players who will recieve nothing
