I know I am hard to NU. Sometimes I am half kidding. Sometimes it is warranted.

On Aug. 22 it was announced that Niagara will face LSU and UCLA in a pair of games in the Cayman Island Classic in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands on Nov. 24-25."

NU is playing the #1 team in the nation. A team that won the national championship just last season. There is absolutely no mention of this in this write up. It doesn't even have the rank of LSU or UCLA for that matter.

When was the last time NU played a defending champ in anything? When was the last time NU played a #1 ranked team in anything? Niagara was PICKED to play the best team in the country against one of the best coaches to ever do it. To not even mention this is the write up is really a sad thing.

Nobody thought when writing this up "hey I have an idea, maybe we should quickly insert "defending national champs"? If those 17 years were too much why not put in #1.

Kudos the womens team for playing a great schedule.
