Our youngest rostered player was born in 2004, he was 9 when the team went to the tournament and probably had his eyes set to the nhl or OHL. Most of these kids view this team as last resort. There were plans. Everyone knew it couldn’t happen. NU at the time knew early in the project their ultimate goal, full bowl, was nearly impossible. The nearly part was just enough to keep it going. They also knew around the same time NU would never be allowed in the ECAC Everyone started with best intentions. There was a lot of things too that people said was they were told were going to happen that never did. I suspect a lot of this game from the pre funding stage of the project. Blue ocean.
