I want to know how this guy (PB) hires his friend to coach along with him then hits on his girlfriend? Not only that,has no fear of putting down his thoughts in writing and then sending them to her. Anderson is suing the university for $45.6 million, which includes his $11 million buyout with the rest going for "punitive damages" for his wrongful termination. Anderson claims his firing by the school was part of a bigger set of plans to bring Rick Pitino to St. John's: Pitino was hired 10 days after Anderson was fired. "St. John's manufactured out of whole cloth its preposterous 'for cause' termination of Mr. Anderson's employment with the sole purpose of attempting to extricate the University from its $11.4 million ironclad contractual obligation to Mr. Anderson, specifically so that it could otherwise divert those funds to Pitino," a filing on Anderson's behalf said. He will NEVER coach again at the collegiate level. He stated that he cannot forgive himself for his actions. I hope his marriage will survive this debacle. He has let down himself, his family, his student-athletes, the Michigan State alums, AD Haller (who helped him get the job), MSU fans and supporters everywhere, and the entire Spartan community. I’m sure that what happened years ago caused a lot of pain for all involved and it is not something that I should have dredged up at this point. Apparently there is another side of the story in the Michigan State case that I wasn’t even aware of as well. Sorry for bringing this up. Happy to weigh in on on Mike Anderson though. Whether it's by faculty and staff, college athletic coaches and players , it's a huge problem. You will be hearing about other such cases in the future.
