If we had all those answers, life would be far more interesting with regards to NU basketball.
Suffice to say, those are great reasons to support the program as we await the start of the 08-9 season.
noshot, you can be as sceptical as you want, but nobody should have to defend being positive, spirited and supportive of this team. I would simply point to the improvement of our program by a dedicated Joe Mihalich and the players who enjoy playing and contributing to a winning season filled with lots of excitement.
To the 50YrFan, every team team has questions which involve strengths and weaknesses. It's how the team overcomes them and molds into a winning group that is the reason coaches spend about 17 hours a day at their jobs.
By the way, NU never in it's over 100 years of playing had a "dominant center". As a matter of fact, you can count on the thumb of a one armed man (favorite quote of my friend) the dominant centers Niagara has had.
The greatest players in NU's history have been talented guards and forwards.
