Well said.....the other programs do NOT provide full rides. Many of the so called " athletic scholarships " provide partial aid , which is fine . The point being ignored is that most student athletes don't mind making sacrifices to help their programs fund road road trips, uniforms and equipment . It seems as though sacrifices are not being asked of all the athletic programs.
It's disgraceful for the basketball program ( JAM ) to avoid money games ( 2) like the plague when that revenue could be so beneficial to all of the athletic programs , basketball included.
In these difficult economic times, it's incomprehensible how an AD can sit back and allow potential revenue to go by the wayside for fear of incurring a meaningless loss.
