The Wedge was built by Raleigh. It was also known as the Raleigh Chopper. They have introduced a remake of it. So you're not hallucinating. The Wedge does/did exist. They came with the Sturmey Archer AW hub and the Sportshift "suicide" shifter. They're hard to find. I hope this helps. Ride Free Ride Often........the CCM guy
