Guess what. I was thinking of my old Stratoflight bike and decided to google the name. I found this thread. I bought mine at FedMart around 1975 for $74.99. I remember it being a great product and I loved it until it was stolen in eigth grade. I bought another as soon as I saved up the money that I had until I went to college where I lost track of it.

They thing rolled like there was no friction. I once got a big running start and then coasted almost all the way home by working the handle bars back and forth ( like the new ripsticks) when I slowed down until I came to a grade where i could pick up speed. It was close to a mile. I remember it had Shimano components ( which I had never heard of at the time)Good luck with your renovation
