I only chanced upon the LANDOVER BAPTIST webpage - and sweet merciful crap! ... that group of cultists are very scary. They speak about fearing the devil and doing what Jesus says. Now then, we people must remember that Jesus NEVER wrote a SINGLE WORD down - it was his own APOSTLES who wrote down his PARABLES. Nobody on this earth has a clue about what he exactly said and did because all his deeds and parables were taken down by witnesses/better known as his APOSTLES. Generations later, those stories were then translated and passed down as sources about historical events. Now, we all know how second-source translated stories can lose their intial meaning and be warped by rumour, bigotry, and miscommunication. Jesus was a nice guy. The stories I most appreciated about him was the fact that he sat down with the dejected (prostitutes) and rejected (lepers) when EVERYONE else scorned such people. Jesus showed wonderful kindness, understanding and compassion - unlike the LANDOVER BAPTISTS who spite and fear their fellow humanity. The LANDOVER BAPTISTS have DAMNED themselves by going against kindness, understanding and compassion - the very fundamental feeling that Jesus himself preached and practiced.
