i had decided to place 2 old english mastiffs due to my health problems i wanted to cut back on the number of dogs my husband had bought me i had met a lady on the internet about 1 yr and a half ago we talked on the phone and e-mail
well i decided to give her honey and zaine who were brother and sister zaine was very nice about 150 lbs
honey was the runt and very small 69lbs they would not be a yr old until nov 23 2002 my husband drove both dogs to her in ohio we are from rhode island well next time i heard from her she was bragging that she had put the 2 dogs in the same crate and bred them, we gave her the dogs on oct 30 2002 the pups were born in jan 2003
i was appalled that she had done that. also she had given a pup to a girl in exchange for 1 stove 1 freezer and a 3 piece sectional and a gun she told her she would give full registration on the dog then she bred zaine the male to this girls female with the understanding that the girl who owned a male that was too young to breed would be bred back to her female well when she heard that the dog was going to have 12 puppies after an xray was done well she told the girl she wanted half the litter the girl refused so this lady decided not to help her with the litter, refused to sign registration papers refused to give akc papers for the pup the lady already had and on top of that decided to register the pup in her own name, and has constantly harassed this girl through e-mails and phone calls then when the girl delivered the pups and had problems the lady refused to help her the girl had to bottle feed 7 of the pups all seven pups got phumonia and spent several days at the vets and then the pups died, only 6 survived i could not believe that this lady would do that but on top of it she had called me up to brag on how she was gonna demand that the girl have all dogs and pups dna through akc i was appalled because through numeroues phone calls and e-mails i knew that the lady had kepted that female dog at her house for the entire heat she told me, also she is supposely doing rescue ANYONE GIVING A DOG OR PUP AWAY PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR INFO REGARDING THIS, OR GIVE YOUR MASTIFF TO MCOA IF THEY CAN NOT TAKE THAN ASK FOR A REFERRAL TO A RESCUE,
i was totally fooled we never charged 1 penny for bringing the dogs up to her we never charged anything for the dogs
