It's all about what you get use to. When I was a child I did not know that life was different for other kids (extremely sheltered) thought they were all abuses, had crazy moms and drunk dads, it was not till I was much older that I found out that my family was not normal, so it really did not affect me the same as so many others in the same position were affected, it WAS 'normal' to me, and having health problems while they have been a constant challenge, I feel most people have their own personal challenges to go through. While I'm not able to do somethings others do easily, I was given the gift of a strong mind and fantastic memory, which compensates for a lot.
