July 4th was good for me. I was in a band concert at a local hotel ballroom (Carolina Hotel here in Pinehurst, NC) about 1000 people or more attend each yr. I played percussion instruments to help out on parts not being covered by regular members. I played mostly bass drum and crash cymbal. Played lots of marches and typical July 4th songs! I had a cookout with my parents, neighbors and my Aunt and Uncle were here for a week visiting from Indiana. Around 9 pm our fireworks started and could see them though the trees at my house/parents house. Nice day and not as humid as others! :-)
