Dear Mary, I feel so for you, under these conditions it's not surprising that anyone would have this kind of anxiety, especially someone prone to it. I have a few suggestions for you that may help a BIT. While I don't like to use bleach around the house, I keep a few bottles on my back porch for emergencies such as bleaching the mail and this kind of problem, strong enough straight bleach will kill most anything, even black mold, even though most don't rec. it.

First with dealing with clients, you need to wear a mask NOW, even if your boss does not like it, this virus is too close to you there in Fld. You have a large Latino pop. and many travel to Mexico, migrant workers and all.

I know people here don't listen much to Alex Jones, but he's going to have doctors and a lot of people on this week. This was a manmade virus, ONLY way it could of been, can't explain here, but this first run of the flu is just what happened with the 1917 pandemic that killed forty million people, the first run kills few but gets strains of the flu out there to "change" and get stronger, the second wave will be in four to six weeks IF, and I say IF this is like that flu, it's swine flu, meaning it will affect the lungs, just like the older flu.

The other show I listen to, explains some supplements a person can take to build up their immune system. She is a retired nurse so should have a lot to say about this flu, rem. it's a virus, NOT a bacteria, so antibiotics will do nothing for them.

I recommend you buy a few containers of those CLOROX wet wipes and take them to work with you, a pair of thin surgical gloves, they are fine and easy to work while working, come in packages of ten, but by having these on, and wiping your hands with the clorex wipes, it works out a lot better than washing and washing your hands constantly.

About the mask, remember the outside will be contaminated and when you take it off, don't take it off till you want to throw it out, reusing them is not a great idea, unless you really have few of them, THEN what you can do is spray it with a CLOROX type spray, front and back, leave it for a few days to get the clorex smell off and use a new one till the older own is ready. A person can start with say four masks, and rotate them like this IF and when there is a mask shortage and IF this is anything like what happened in Toronto a few years back with SARS the masks become very hard to get and treasured items.

About the box of things you must go through, I'd get a LARGE piece of plastic OR a plastic bag that's opened all the way, Spray what's in the box with the disinfectant, cover with the plastic and leave for a couple of hours, at least an hour. This should kill a good deal if not all the virus on these things. THEN you can uncover and sort them.

It's REALLY important for people to know where they are buying fruit from, you don't want to eat stuff out of Mexico. Also I highly rec. people have a couple of weeks of food on hand, and anything else they might need with a mild case of the flu, like tissues, toilet paper, frozen fruit juice, what ever you might need to fight this if you get it, even stuff to stop diarrhea, LOTS of food, essentials so you don't need to go out IF your part of a town or you are quaranteened. It happened to many in Toronto, then they had to have people bring them food, and leave it outside the door.

I'm on my way today to start restocking the freezers, and getting essentials like TP, tissues, bottles of electrolytes just in case we do catch it. I figure that I have this and next week to stock up. Even a very mild case of this or any flu would be the end of me. Last time I was very weak and got the flu, it was life threatening, so I know I have to be extra careful.

Mary by taking precautions like I described you should be alright at work, just don't care what anyone says about your precautions, IF during a day you must remove the mask to eat, pull it down to under your chin keeping the inside, folded inside rem. the outside is contaminated with anything that it protected you from. Be careful.

Knowing this was going to happen, this is one of the reasons I sug. you go to NH, much safer in a rural environment. I've been preparing for this since 2004 that's why we built our mailbox, had to have special permission to do that etc.

I rushed writing this, haven't even done my morning stuff hoping to get to you before you go to work. Love and hugs, Anna May
