Subject: Yesterday

We've had rain off and on for days, ugly storm passed over a bit earlier, and tonight the clouds are suppose to clear out and go down to about 7C that's about 44 F. in Sherbrooke and seeing they were 10C last night and we got down to 43 F. I think we will be covering for frost, this is some year of frustration.

After they declared a pandemic, I called my friend for some advice on how I should be handling this, and because my immune system is so drastically low right now with everything, he said the only thing I can do to be safe is to stay in and cancel seeing everyone. So I took all the money I had saved up from my pay and went to the grocery store yesterday, luck had it that good boneless pork cutlets were on sale for $1.79 lb. and I got about 22 lbs of them, also some ground beef, and some other things. I think we are set to go for a long time EXCEPT for eggs, I got 15 doz yesterday on sale, great price, and they'll stay good in the frig for about three weeks, by then many of John's beans and cakes will have been out of the freezer and eaten and I'll start freezing what's left, so wish with all my might I could get a couple of chickens, but FORGET it with this man.

Also picked up four bags of rabbit feed and with all the groceries the car was riding kind of low, it's a really small car. Today I wrapped and froze many of the chops raw, cooked some, cooked one package of the ground beef and cut and froze so many things. How I ever made it down there, did all that shopping then did all this work today, I don't know but must of had a couple of angels holding me up. While cooking I made a couple of Alex Jones DVDs and also a few of my cookbook Cds., just stopped to check the board and post and going to take a short nap.
