Subject: Good Wednesday Morning

Finally up at five after a good night's sleep. We've been sleeping in too late this spring and find ourselves very late with a lot of things in the garden and woodpile.

It was 40F at dawn, NO frost for a change :-)) the fire is going good, my hot water for dishes is heating up, coffee is made and next is John's cereal. MM is still sleeping as she was up too late for a little dog last night. Nina was sick yesterday with an upset stomach. I made her a special easy to digest suppper and she had yogurt and probiotics during the day, now complaining for an early breakfast. With all the interruptions with Nina and things getting put away from those last shopping trips, rearranged etc. I was kind of behind by 6pm and did not get MM supper to her exactly on time. She's a riot, I gave her a little snack and she ate it and screamed at me, as IF to say "WHAT do you mean giving me so little, is this it?" She sat on the bed watching me in the kitchen making her mix, it was sooooo cute. What held me up was I ran out of red lentils and wanted to make a new pot of rice with them, so had to get a new bag out and into the bin. Also opened a new 22 lb bag of white beans for John.

Must make John some fever few tea this morning, he's had bad migraines and it's one of the only herbs that helps him.

I'll be catching up on the kitchen and dishes today, after a weekend of heavy cooking and freezing, there are stacks of pots, pans and dishes to clean up. Still having much trouble with energy, crave sleep so much, and as hard as I tried yesterday, did not get time for a nap. THAT'S life!!

Finally heard from June, she's back in Hawaii, but had a difficult trip to the mainland and is quite ill right now. Extra prayers that way please. Sissy is over her head with family problems, he dad just had eye surgery, and a really bad windstorm hit them last week and damaged her son's home, which is right next to hers. It was very dramatic and by the grace of God no one was injured. One of her darling sisters is going for a breast biopsy today, so prayers would be nice for all of them.

H1N1 is moving in the Quebec population just like I thought it would in my predictions, the Native populations are becoming affected more than other nationalities, meaning that this virus has affects people with different genetic make up more than others. More reason for me to be isolated, as I'm half Native American.

Please all of you take some precautions so you don't catch this as each of you have family, and within that family there are people who have underlying health problems and even if you are healthy this could take one or more of them out. Like I just told a friend, "who do you know nowadays who does not have an underlying health problem?" it could be something as slight as high blood pressure, intestinal problems or even diabetes, almost anything qualifies as an underlying health condition.

I've also heard from our dear Janette and like normal she's over her head with different projects, "Can't keep a good woman down".

Well I'm off to get to work, sending big hugs to each of you and can't wait to read some of your news. Mary, can't wait to see some more pics of your new home and hear what you are changing. Florida Mary, I hope you are not feeling lonely, I'm here if you ever feel like calling when you get home from work, just love chatting with you. Karen any developments with your trip to GB? How's Winnie doing Christine? and keep your volunteering Phyllis, it's so worth while for all.

Hugs, Anna May
