I've been lying here a couple of days thinking how strange life is. When we are healthy, or even when not (I can't rem. how long it's been since life has not been an hourly struggle) but I've been lucky enough to find a way to type, study, take a writing course, write a cookbook and develop an active online life. BUT when we are ABLE to interact, is not the time we NEED more interaction, it's exactly when we are too ill to write, when we need communications and that seems to be when they stop.

Just posting in this position (on my back with feet elevated way over my head to get a blood clot moving) can be quite challenging, copy and pasting is lots of fun, and my internet connection on dialup, which is normally slow is unable to open normal pages, forget videos or anything big. BUT it's exactly the time when I need to come here and read your stories, like Susan's most wonderful post yesterday, and the few I've had on my own message board. Feeling loved, part of a community right now is so helpful, and healing and I so thank you four taking the time to read my columns and letting me know you liked it, REALLY meant a lot.

Anyone who's ever had to elevate their feet high knows that it makes you have to pee often, so Off I go, see you all later, hugs, Anna May
