Subject: Here it is Tuesday, and where is everyone?

OK, life's the pits, but would love to hear what's happening in your part of this messy world. Is there a lot of H1N1 in your area. Seniors are writing in our newspapers how our Gov. medicine is keeping anyone 65 and older from getting the flu shot and controlling who can and can not get it, while you can buy a shot in the US.

I just did a radio taping, telling the seniors and those unemployed to stay home and keep away from everyone for three to four weeks, the general public can't get the flu shot here till mid Dec. way to late to do any good and besides it's the young, healthy ones that are dying from it. A healthy 13 year old boy died a few days ago and to think he would not even have been entitled to getting this flu shot now, so are we going to leave the schools open and just watch healthy young people drop dead? I do not think the flu shot is the answer and would not take it if they came to my house and gave it away.

Anyway the Ukraine has 255,000, people sick, 15,000 in hospital and all schools and colleges have been shut down, but I would not have even heard this news had I not gotten up at four a.m. and listen to news from around the world on our CBC radio station. You'd think our gov. officials would of read up on the 1918 flu pandemic and know how that one killed mostly those healthy and between 15 and 35, this one is following that, so why keep everything open and expose everyone to this virus?

People here are not even wearing masks, I had to ask Maureen as I have not been out since August and wore a mask then but saw no one else with one.

So this is what my next radio show was about, sure hope it helps some of those seniors who feel left behind by government.
